2008 MINI MODIFIED
RULES
UPDATED JANUARY 14, 2008

COMPETING MODLES:

1. 1976 and up 2 or 4 door foreign or domestic with a 90” to 105” wheel-base
2. Anything not specified in rules must be factory stock for make and model of car.
3. Bodies may be interchanged between makes. (Must remain stock appearing).

WEIGHT:

1. All cars must weigh .9 pounds per CC or a minimum of 2000lbs.
2. Left side weight 58% maximum, weigh is with the driver.
3. All lead must be painted white with car number painted in either red or black.

ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN:

1. Engine must be in stock location.
2. Maximum engine size is 2350cc.
3. Stock or stock replacement rods.
4. Stock crankshafts only, No lighting or knife edging.
5. No aftermarket heads. Valves must be stock diameter.
6. Camshafts: (No aftermarket roller type camshafts).
7. Dual overhead cam engines must run the factory EFI with factory fuel rail.
8. Intake: stock or stock type aftermarket.
9. Stock flywheels, with a minimum weight of 12lbs. (NO aluminum)
10. Stock type pressure plates, multi disc clutches optional (No aluminum)
11. Stock transmission and rear ends only, (locked optional)
12. Carburetor 350 Holley, part” 7448, must be box stock and fit gauges.
13. No cold air boxes, breather cannot stick out of hood.
14. Oil pans optional.
15. No MSD boxes.

BODY AND APPEARANCE:

1. Full stock type bodies, Doors, fenders, and hoods may be aluminum. Bodies must be stock in all dimensions. Approved aftermarket noses must be stock appearing for make & body run. NON approved nose must carry a 50lbs weight penalty.
2. Full fiberglass or aluminum aftermarket bodies may run at a minimum weight of 2200 lbs
3. Full firewall must remain.
4. Rear spoiler size 6” X 48” mounted on the rear of deck, centered.
5. Frame and body must have 4” ground clearance at all times
6. All cars must have dash.

BRAKES:

1. Stock brakes only 2 or 4 wheel disc, rear drum brakes approved.
2. Stock type master cylinder only. After market pedal & master cylinder assembly must add 50 lbs.

SUSPENSION:

1. Stock suspension required in stock location.
2. Adjustable springs optional, must be mounted in stock location for make and model of car.
3. Minimum 5” diameter springs.
4. Steel shocks only, no coil over or adjustable (No aluminum)
5. Shock must mount in stock position.
6. Coil over suspension must add 50 lbs
7. Tube chassis must add 100 lbs.

TIRES & WHEELS:

1. Steel wheels only 13” X 8”.
2. Tires: 13”  TBA
