Mini Stock (Buzzz)  

        This division is intenden for beginers no one that has won a BIR championship in any other other division than Ranegade may compete in this division.

1.        Any Stock 4 cylinder, or station wagon from 1984 model & up. All cars must be front wheel drive.

2.        All glass must be removed except windshield and it may be Lexan.

3.        Must have racing seat belt.

4.        All flammable materials must be removed except dash and it needs to be stock. Speedometer must work.

5.        All doors, hood and trunk must be secured during race. (Welded, bolted or chained).

6.        All engines must be stock for make and model of vehicle. Engines must remain completely stock, in stock position. Must start with key in stock location. Battery maybe relocated in safe place. NO turbo or super charged cars. Recommended safety disconnect on battery cable.

7.        No altering of frame or suspension in anyway.

      May add camber to right front tire.

8.        Street legal 60 & 70 series tires. Minimum 300 tread wear NO racing tires allowed. All four tires must be the same size. Reinforced wheels recommended. Maximum 7” steel wheels. All wheels must be the same offset. Maximum offset 3 1/2”

9.        Racecars must be painted neatly with contrasting numbers on the       doors and roof Numbers must be at least 20” tall and non-reflected.

10.     Muffler may be removed.

11.     Roll cages recommended in all cars. Drivers side 

door may be hulled for door bars on roll cage.

Drivers side door is the only spot of the car that may be altered.

Alternative to roll cage: 3/16 steel plate over drivers door and overlap at least 4”on fender and quarter panel, with 2 post mounted with bolts to the floor & the roof of the car in a H design. Minimum size of the H assembly 1½”tubin.

All cars must have a Chilton or Haynes repair manual for make & model run.
                                                                                                                                                      

·         This division is intended for beginners and to be an affordable way of racing. No bending of the rules will be tolerated. Anyone deemed by officials to have broken or stretched these rules would be DQ’d from the event. If it’s not stock, It’s illegal!!!

·         No one that has won a championship in any other division higher than buzz or renegade cannot compete in this division.

·         Anyone over the age of 25 winning one championship will be forced to step up a division!

·         No one under the age of 25 may win more than two championships.

·         The only other division a buzz driver may compete in is the renegade division.

·         Top three finishers from previous event will start in the rear regardless of draw.
